"THE ACHIEVERS"

"The Achievers" was grouped in early 2007 with only 5 members; Ryan, Shanti (Papaa), Kumar (Cikidi), Jeeva (Jokko) and Chan Saran (Kamal) with a goal to conquer most of the mountains in Peninsular Malaysia.

We began our first activity to "Gunung Dato" at Rembau. Since it was our first hiking activity, all of us are so exited especially our little sister ‘Papaa.’ Although the route is a bit challenging; we managed to reach the peak and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
Few members joined in our 2nd hiking trip to “Gunung Angsi” … Siva, Jessy, Gee, Suresh. It was a nice trip and all of us really had a good time over there. The most exiting part, we had a chance to take a photo with our former Malaysia’s Sport Minister … Dato’ Khalid Yunus.

Our 3rd activity was to conquer “Gunung Ledang”. It was a really tough route and most of guys wanted to give up but somehow we managed to smell the summit…. hahahaha. Our 4th activity continued to ‘Gunung Irau”. Since ‘Gunung Irau’ situated at Cameron Highland, it was a new experience for all of us whereby we have to adapt to the cold weather. Haahaaa… again we managed to reach the peak.

We are trying to changes a bit our initial concepts which are not only focusing on hiking activity but also widen it to abseiling, canoeing, caving and vacation. We are still in middle of planning but definitely we will work-out something….

If anyone interested…. Just drop us an email… ryanbaros@gmail.com
